Q-Free offers solutions and products based on state-of-the-art technology, and is a leading supplier of OBU (Dedicated Short-Range Communication (DSRC)), machine vision (Automatic License Plate Registration (ALPR)) and satellite (Global Navigation Satellite System/Global Positioning System (GNSS/GPS) based technologies.
The company has delivered systems which are now operational in Europe, the Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, and North and South America. Q-Free has approximately 300 employees, is headquartered in Trondheim, Norway and has local offices around the world. Q-Free provides TDC with additional resources both financially and technologically. TDC will also benefit from seeing its products exposed to Q-Free's worldwide sales network.
