SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The HI-TRAC 110 high-speed traffic data collection system provides a low cost means of recording vehicle count and classification without interruption to traffic flows. The HI-TRAC 110 interfaces to up to eight piezo electric sensors and sixteen induction loop sensors installed in the highway. Although primarily a permanently, multi-lane, counter/classifier the HI-TRAC 110 can also be configured as a weigh-in-motion system with Class 1 piezo electric sensors installed.
The HI-TRAC 110 incorporates TDC Systems advanced loop profiling function which greatly enhances vehicle classification in particular with similar chassis vehicles and vehicle/trailer combinations.
Incident detection and event monitoring functions can be incorporated along with message sign activation and CCTV interface for text insertion and license plate number recognition (ANPR).The HI-TRAC 110 is accompanied by the HI-COMM 100 software package.
HI-COMM 100 provides data retrieval via modem (landline or GSM) or laptop as well as data analysis facilities and system diagnostic functions. |
