The unit is light and easy to use incorporating a tactile keypad and LCD display. The HI-TRAC MC keypad overlays are easily interchangeable with additional membranes available dependant upon the type of survey being carried out. The HI-COMM MC Windows software provides user-definable keypad configuration and a print facility to print the new keypad overlay. The HI-TRAC MC Series comes equipped with a mains battery charger; with an optional in-car charger available. An internal 10-year battery back-up facility prevents loss of data. Also available is a GPS upgrade module which provides a secure location fix and synchronisation to the satellite clock. HI-COMM MC Windows software provides data download and enhanced report generation. In addition HI-COMM MC also enables the user to compile and store survey templates.
