TDC’S RESEARCH PARTNERSHIP WITH BRISTOL UNIVERSITY

TDC Systems have recently undertaken extensive testing and development sessions with Professors from Bristol University in their anechoic chamber antenna testing facility.
Utilising multi plane rotation inside the chamber and complex mathematical analysis tools, Bristol University was able to provide full 3 dimensional polar plots not only of the individual antenna, but also the antenna inside its local environment of the enclosure.

6TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON WEIGH-IN-MOTION IN DALLAS, USA

TDC Systems are proud to announce they are major sponsors of the 6th International Conference on Weigh-in-Motion in Dallas, USA running from June 4-7th. The conference is held roughly every 4 years and this year is being held in conjunction with the bi-annual NATMEC 2012 conference.

Bristol City Council had identified a problem caused by speeding cyclists on a dedicated cycle pedestrian lane approaching a cross roads near to a school.
Cyclist approaching were unable to have a clear line of sight of the cross roads and were unable to take evasive action when travelling at high speeds.

DORSET LOW COST VEHICLE ACTIVATED SIGN

TDC Systems has recently developed a low cost vehicle activated sign for a temporary diversion route set up for bridge improvements works in collaboration with Joe Allen at Dorset County Council.
The requirement is for a system to stop long heavy vehicles entering a narrow section of road on a steep hill whilst a similar vehicle is climbing the hill. BUS PRIORITY TRIAL: A SUCCESS

The trial of TDC Systems HI-TRAC UTC-L (BP) designed in partnership with 2020 Liverpool has proven to be a success.
