TDC SYSTEMS AND CLOUD AMBER PARTNERSHIP WINS TENDER FOR TRAFFIC COUNTER CLASSIFIER SYSTEM

TDC are pleased to announce their recent tender success in Wrexham, replacing the existing network of traffic counters with the HI-TRAC® UTC L; TDC Systems latest low powered GPRS enabled counter classifier. This tender and interest from many Authorities have driven a partnership between TDC and Cloud Amber.
The Cloud Amber UTMC compliant common database provides an open standard data store to collect and disseminate traffic and transport information from existing or new UTMC sub systems. It also provides Traffic Managers with the ability to develop better, integrated traffic and transport control strategies in line with current national and local transport policies.
