SYSTEM CAPABILITIES GUIDE
TDC Systems full range of traffic monitoring and weigh-in-motion products can be viewed in one easy to follow document downloadable as a PDF. The guide will help you to identify the system or systems that will meet your requirements. It identifies the functionality of each system, indicates how many lanes can be connected, what sensor configuration is applicable and associated vehicle classification table/s. It also tells you the vehicle record storage capacity; what communication options there are as well as other interfaces; power requirements and additional connectivity.

LO-TRAC 100
The LO-TRAC systems determine the axle weights of vehicles either statically or dynamically. In the dynamic weighing mode the vehicle travels at low speed, typically less than 5kph, over the weighbeam, which is permanently installed into a concrete weigh lane. Vehicle classification and vehicle speed are also calculated.
The system is suitable for use by Government authorities for axle and gross vehicle weight enforcement or by transport companies to check axle and gross vehicle weights prior to proceeding on the road. With the addition of a PC and the LO-WEIGH 100 Windows software package, system functions are enhanced to provide additional diagnostic facilities, data storage, report generation, on-line services and customised weigh tickets.

PORTABLE LOW SPEED WEIGH IN MOTION
TDC can offer a portable weighing solution suitable for weighing vehicles either in motion (WIM) at low speeds (5 kph) or statically (axle-by-axle). The CET 10-4 SLIM has a weighing range of up to 30 000 kg / 20 kg per axle. Achievable accuracy when the scale is set on a flat good quality surface is in the order of ±0.5% for static weighing and ±2% for low speed weigh-in-motion.
The weigh pads are mechanically strong in that they are built using high resistance aluminium; avionics grade, alloy and coated with anti- skating polyurethane paint. The weigh pads are low profile and small in size (640 x 500 x 40 mm) and weigh only 24 kg. Four stainless steel strain gauges load cells hermetically sealed and protected to IP 67 are connected to a junction box and data transmission is via a cable connected with a quick release connector. Load cells CPA SL are approved to OIML R60.

WEIGHBEAM WB30L
The WB30L axle weighbeam is designed to interface with the LO-TRAC® 100 and 200 axle weighing systems. The weighing platform sits in a steel pit frame which is permanently installed into a flat and level concrete apron (weigh lane). It is supported in each corner by four folded ‘S’ tensile load cells mounted within specially designed shoes. Axle weighing is suitable for check weighing commercial vehicles prior to leaving the loading area or by Government authorities for axle and gross vehicle weight enforcement.
The WB30L is nominally rated at 30 tonnes (normal single axle loads do not exceed 10 tonnes) however maximum capacity is to 60 tonnes which is sufficient to safely weigh grossly overloaded or abnormally loaded vehicles.
