BRIDGE LOAD MONITORING
The protection of bridges in an environment of increasing traffic volume and weight ensures road safety and bridge structure integrity. TDC Systems provide an all inclusive solution for effective bridge load monitoring protection systems.
Based on our successful high speed WIM system, our satisfied customers already include the Humber bridge, Erskine bridge, Kincardine Old bridge, Whitecart bridge, North Kessock bridge, Raith bridge and the West Gate bridge in Melbourne, Australia.
An array of inductive loops and/or piezo sensors can be installed into the road surface either prior to or on...
LOW SPEED WEIGH IN MOTION
Low Speed Weigh In Motion systems are installed in a controlled environment such as a vehicle weight enforcement and inspection stations where the vehicle speed is controlled to approximately 5 kph. Accuracies to +/-1% are achievable providing the axle weigh bridge is installed in a concrete weigh lane constructed to TDC specifications. Automatic vehicle classification allows for immediate indication of vehicle overload dependent upon vehicle class and legal local weight limits.
TDC offer two bespoke Low Speed Weigh In Motion solutions; the LO-TRAC 100 and the LO-TRAC 200. The LO-TRAC...
HIGH SPEED WEIGH IN MOTION
High Speed Weigh In Motion systems are installed in the main highway and weigh vehicles at normal highway speeds (20-120 kph) but will detect, count and classify vehicles from 5 kph to 200 kph. Accuracies to COST 323 Class B(10); +/-10% (or better), are achievable on well constructed roads. The Weigh In Motion system uses unobtrusive but easily installed piezo electric sensors as the weighing medium.
TDC have a number of bespoke High Speed Weigh In Motion solutions; the HI-TRAC 100+ is our main system with a long and excellent...
PORTABLE WEIGH IN MOTION
Portable vehicle weighing solutions are suitable for weighing vehicles either in motion (WIM) at low speeds (5 kph) or statically (axle-by-axle). The CET 10-4 SLIM has a weighing range of up to 30 000 kg / 20 kg per axle.
Achievable accuracy when the scale is set on a flat good quality surface is in the order of ±0.5% for static weighing and ±2% for low speed weigh-in-motion.
The weigh pads are mechanically strong in that they are built using high resistance aluminium; avionics grade, alloy and coated with anti-...
